244 stories, 3 cities, a dozen unconventional romances and almost 5 years later here we are at the end of our journey.

What started as musings from three girls living in an old terrace house in Sydney (and as some high school pals even referred to as a ‘sex blog’), has become a rather frank diary of my personal transgressions from push-up bra teenage deviant to a London-based fully fledged woman.

It hasn’t been a glamorous ride, and I’m sorry if at times I made you believe it was all Loubitons and helicopter rides. My ambition with Heaven on Bourke was never to glorify twenty-something life.

Think about it…These days we spend so much of our time scrolling mindlessly through the feeds of flawless women. But you know what fashion bloggers, beauty bloggers and perfect-body bloggers all have in common?

A: They all get blemishes on their bottoms.

I have always believed that my purpose in this world is to make light of life’s little blemishes. I want to help women find the humour and beauty in even the most awkward situations.

So why am I stopping?

Over the past couple of years, I got this mission tangled up with my own self-image, which on more than one occasion has stopped me from writing the real story.

From what really happened in The Dirthouse to my time at Honey Birdette, I’ve glossed over many of the details that I shouldn’t have. Not only because many of the things that happened to me during that time weren’t pretty, but they would have made a hell of a story if only I could have been brave enough to tell it.

And that’s why I’m closing up shop here and moving to a new corner of the internet. Not to run away from who I am but to put the single girl at the heart of my writing again.

Thank you to every single soul who ever read this blog, I love and appreciate you and the time you’ve spent on HOB more than anything.

If you’d like to follow me on my next journey you can send your email address to paige@heavenonbourke.com and I’ll notify you once the new website is up and running in 2018.

I promise there will be buckets full of honesty.

Love to you all,

Miss P.
